Robert Barr is a creative consultant, fashion journalist and copywriter with over ten years experience working in the United States and Europe.

 

Robert has worked in fashion design, fashion journalism, public relations, television and copywriting.

 

Robert’s work has appeared in Flaunt, WWD, Paper and The Daily Beast. He also assisted in the design of Iceberg’s F/W 05-06 collection and was Giambattista Valli’s First Design Assistant at the launch of his eponymous collection in 2004. After returning to Los Angeles, Robert assisted Gabé Doppelt on the 81st Annual Academy Awards Pre Show on ABC. More recently, he was Deputy Copywriter at M·A·C Cosmetics, crafting language and concepts for up to fifteen different cosmetics collection a season. Today, in addition to regular freelance projects for private clients, he is Copy Director for the BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP in Los Angeles, supervising content creation for eight brands simultaneously.

 

Robert currently lives in Hollywood with Kitty, a slightly demented stray cat a homeless gentleman handed him one night in Brooklyn.
