In 2004 I moved back to Paris to take a position as Giambattista Valli's First Design Assistant for his eponymous collection and Iceberg. I designed womenswear, cast models, put together mood boards...I stayed with Valli for a year before deciding my heart was in writing. However, that time did produce my most unique accomplishment: designing ICEBERG F/W 05/06.
During my time at W and WWD, I worked with a veteran editor named Gabé Doppelt. A few years after I'd left W and WWD, Gabé called and asked if I'd help her produce the 'fashion content' for The 81st Annual Academy Awards ABC Pre-Show. Below is a little sample of the work we did together.
